Next year is the last year we are tied to August for our summer holiday. I don’t really want to go somewhere super hot like Greece, Spain etc so was thinking about Norway, Belgium, Germany etc instead.
Does anyone have any recommendations? We have two teen girls. They do like to have a pool if it’s warm enough. DH likes privacy, so would rather have a holiday home than a center parcs type place or hotel. I love history and eating out. One of our DDs has disabilities so activities like cycling etc are out unless they cater for disabilities (which would be fantastic if anyone knows somewhere?). We could combine two centres - city plus countryside? Lakes and/or mountains would be good?
Basically I want the weather to be pleasant but not too hot. Hit me with your suggestions!
