Do 12-18 Yr olds need a booster for France?

Getting v confused! www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/france/entry-requirements The Gov UK site seems to say that Over 18s now only need 2 x vacc if the last one was within 9 months, but 12-18 Yr olds need a 3rd vacc (booster) too. Is that correct or have I interpreted wrong?

The French UK embassy site doesn't directly specify at all. Just says under 12s don't need anything and 12-18s can use a pass to prove their status - helpful.

Would really appreciate insight.

They just need to be double jabbed.

@Clymene thank you I thought that was the case but it doesn't seem to be what it says on the gov site, very confusing

It's very badly written! Don't forget they will need their own Covid pass on their phones. It can take a couple of days to get approved (you have to upload photo ID) so don't leave it until the last minute.

And adults need to be boosted ie have had 3 jabs OR had their 2nd within last 9 months. If you're only double jabbed and your second jab was over 9 months ago then you're considered unvaccinated

Thank you, we've got him the NHS Covid letter - I'm assuming they're still accepting that? As we don't let him take his mobile abroad (loses everything!)

What's the Covid pass online with a photo? I've got the nhs app but it doesn't request a photo?

To set it up for the first time, my kids had to upload photo ID. If you already have it set up, then you're good to go

You can use the letter if it has a QR code on it?
we went via Eurostar a few weeks ago and they scanned the covid pass letter
