Morning

We need new cases. If you were buying cases for your family what would you go with? Hard or soft shelled? Anything else to look out for? I’m drawn towards soft shelled, not black with 4 wheels but there are lots of options now.

Hi, we needed a new case last year and bought similar to this www.tripp.co.uk/tripp-ocean-blue-ultra-lite-4-wheel-medium-suitcase/p3323
It was good for us (2 adults 2 DC) and still looks new after being thrown on and off the planes.

Hard shell for the hold, soft can get damaged. 4 wheels makes a big difference.

I've got a cheap, small, lightweight, holdall for the cabin. DH has a hard shell roller. Both are within size range for all carriers.
Guess which one is always allowed on board, & which is often made to go in the hold, with the attendant risks !

Cases get filthy so hard can be wiped down.
