Day trips from Milan by train - Como and beach?

Any advice? Which part of Como would you head to by train for the day from Milan? Also is the nearest beach Genoa - is it day tripable?

I'd go to Stresa on Lake Maggiore. Easy, direct train ride - less than an hour. To get to e.g Varenna on Lake Como takes about 2 hours. Genoa is about 1.5 hours then you'd need another train east or west to get to a beach.

Hey 👋 just wanted a little reassurance and advice really, I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I genuinely expected of hoped my partner would be different during this time (more loving and affectionate) but we've only had sex twice during pregnancy. He says it's because he feels weird and we can't do it properly because of the baby. But I feel so ugly and unloved. He just says I'm not ugly and it's not because of that. But during pregnancy you feel super lonely anyway. Just hope it changes when baby girl is here. Let me know if anyone else if going through this ❤️
