Weather in Cumbria June

Hi! Can anyone advise the average weather in Cumbria in June, DH thinks it is quite wet alot! We are thinking Whinfell but DH thinks the further north you go the wetter the climate, toying with longleat then as its more south.
I am in Ireland so have no idea as to the weather! Many thanks!

There are no guarantees but yes, it does rain quite a lot! That said, we have had holidays with gorgeous weather on the Lake District. I wouldn't ever expect a week with no rain though . Weather is likely to be less rainy toward the coast rather than the mountain areas .
