Aerosol/spray sun cream 100ml or under?

I can't for the life of me find a spray sun cream/aerosol sun cream that's suitable for hand luggage. Has anyone seen any either in person or online?

There are loads in normal spray size, but if they can do miniature aerosol deodorant I was hoping they'd be able to do the same size in the sun spray.

Any help appreciated!

Really not sure if this helps but I always use a Garnier spray for my face. I guess you could use this and a small Nivea cream for body? I always find them in Tesco or savers in the travel section. WHSmith also does 3 for 2.

garnier - under 100ml

Buy a normal sized one at the airport ?

You can get little spray ones in Boots, 75ml. Might have been in a pack. I’m on holiday at the moment and just bought a couple of the normal sized bottles from Boots in the airport.

Does it have to be a spray?
You get roll on ones
Or buy the calypso scalp and parting spray for use on other bits of the body

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 08/07/2022 15:31

Dry oil might not be what you're looking for from B&M bargains

Buy a normal sized one at the airport ?

I have to travel twice a month for work for four days a time so didnt really want to buy a normal sized bottle to have to leave it there before I fly home again each time

The reason for the aerosol was that you don't have to rub it in. I have awful eczema between my fingers at the minute and even a sensitive sun cream sets it off :(

I saw the parting spray actually and wondered if this was a possibility!!

75ml. Bit expensive but handy size for flights

Thank you, I'd not seen this one. This may be my best option! Expensive but certainly cheaper than buying a normal sized one at each destination

Haven't seen this brand before but they seem to be UK based

That spray is available elsewhere for quite a lot less than what Amazon are selling it for.

cliffdiver · 10/07/2022 08:31

If your eczema is particularly bad, are you able to get suncream prescribed?

Then you would be able to take any size as hand luggage, providing you have a copy of the prescription.

livingonpurpose · 10/07/2022 09:24

Try Aldi. I saw they had 100ml creams and sprays in their toiletries section on my last visit and made a mental note for future hand-luggage only trips!

BertieBotts · 10/07/2022 09:30

There are stick ones like pritt sticks that don't need to be rubbed in.

I'd not thought of that, although I wonder if the aerosol/spray ones are available on prescription, even at the larger size.

Just buy the £4.99 calypso pump Sun spray from home and bargains and get a travel pack of bottles with a 100ml spray in it. Decant into the 100ml bottle 🤷🏼‍♀️

TwinkleToesStrikesAgain · 10/07/2022 22:04

@BarbaraofSeville thank you. I don't think I've ever bought it from Amazon but it's so convenient to include a link so you can see what the item is.

Where is your favourite place to buy it from at the moment? I'm looking for a good place to buy their 200ml spray - not keen on the aerosols really. I love their face sun cream as you don't know you're wearing it...but probably not good for eczema

Because its not the pump spray I'm looking for, that's still a liquid that I need to rub in. Its the aerosol sun cream I'm after. I can't decant an aerosol spray.

Just wanted to ask if you have actually tried la Roche posay sun cream. I have hand eczema and all creams even if sensitive cause a flair up. But not la Roche posay - I can use their cream or their spray without any problems at all. My dermatologist recommended it.
