Where to go?

First ever all inclusive. Son with multiple allergies and I'll have my arm in a sling. I like culture but with only one arm, we need to go somewhere fairly safe. Sling is also why I'm trying this whole relaxing holiday thing. I will need lots of swiming/sliding fun for my son because I won't be able to swim properly myself. Who's been where and what would you recommend or avoid?

All inclusive tend to be buffet restaurants which will be difficult with your arm in a sling. Even worse if your son needs help too. I'd also consider self catering accommodation but eating out for table service.

What about one of the coastal resorts near Barcelona so you can escape for a bit of culture? Or one of the Balearic Islands choosing a resort near Palma, Ciutadella or Eivissa.

We have just come back from an all inclusive and the staff were wonderful. I am sure they would have helped with the selecting of food from the buffet. They also labelled all the food on the buffet in respect of allergies. We travelled with Tui. So look at what they offer.

Sorry, should have said it was a Tui hotel

How old is your son? Depending on his age, you'll need to be careful as some places won't let him in the pool without you. Also a lot of all inclusive's tend to be buffet and you won't be able to carry a tray!

Ikos resorts are pricey but incredible. They are all inclusive but only one buffet and the rest of the restaurants (there’s loads of them) were table service. It had a kids pool and splash park for them, but will depend on your sons age really if it will keep him entertained for long.

Can I ask where you went please?

Thank you so much, can I ask which countries you all tend to go to? I did consider the tray thing but I'm sure the staff would help and have disability considerations. If not my son will be able to help me.
My son is 7 and loves water so would be very well entertainedwith water parks, pools and slides. I am hoping to find one near a beach too so we can alternate and play in the sand too. I'll be able to go waist deep in the pool but not actively swim so it shouldn't be a problem.
