taxi in Gran Canaria - but we are not taking car seat!!??

How does this work?
23 month old needs a car seat here but what about overseas?
We are not hiring a car so dont NEED to take it - will there be one - do we need one???

You dont need car seats in taxis here in GC Its not law . And doubt whether the delightful taxi service here would have car seats let alone pre booking a taxi you only do that if you are going to airport or such. All you do is leap out and hail taxi with your hand!!!!

However if you want you can rent car seat to use while you are here and other stuff too.
