Ideas for a 4 night trip with friends in Europe

Looking for inspiration for trip with friends to celebrate birthday in May or early June. Ideally beach, nice hotel, lovely restaurants and bars and warm. In Europe and near-ish to an airport that has lots of flights as friends travelling from different airports.

I am really hoping for some good ideas as I am struggling for some reason!

In May/early June it's pretty hard to beat the Greek islands. The food will be amazing, the beaches are stunning and the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Alicante city is fab, very Spanish, great shopping, restaurants, marina & beach. Good train system, if you want to go to visit other areas. We loved it when we visited as few years ago. Would highly recommend. You won’t see many English people though, other than the airport, most fly into Alicante and go straight to Costas.
