Child car seat in France

I’m taking a 5 year old to France this summer, planning to not go in cars except for a taxi from the airport & another on the way back. Do I need a car seat? Or will the taxi have one? Would something like this be a good idea to take?
Car booster
Thanks in advance!

That seat you linked to is Group 3 only, meaning that it can be used from a minimum of 22kg and 125cm, which would be quite big for a 5 year old. If they are under this height and weight this seat is not legal for them to use.

You could legally use an older design booster that is certified for group 2 and 3 so 15kg+ but a high backed booster would be safer.

That said it's likely not legally needed in a taxi, so really down to your discretion whether something is better than nothing. You could look at something like Trunki Boostapak as well.

The listing is a bit jumbled and looks like they've converted it from the older regulation from 15kg to the newer regulation from 22kg, but missed some lines of text.
