Where's warm enough to camp in France at the end of October?

We're thinking of going to France in our camper van during October half term. Can anyone advise how far into France we'd have to go to get reasonable weather? It doesn't have to be scorching, just warm enough to get out and about during the day. So 16 degrees minimum really.

We will have our 4 year old with us so don't want to spend too much time travelling.

South of France - Nice area
everywhere else will be cold

The train is five hours from Pais and very clean and efficient

It's always a gamble but I'd agree that the best bet would be coastal PACA.

She'll be in a camper van, though.

But yes, South only, and even then it's not guaranteed.

Hmmm, may have to rethink then. South of France is just too far to go for a week with a toddler. I was hoping that we wouldn't have to go more than half way down France but it seems like we will.

May look into package deals and lie around a pool for the week!
