Majorca family friendly hotel recommendations

We are looking at Majorca for our family holiday next year.

Can anyone recommend any good family friendly hotels?

We'd like to go all inclusive.

We've just come back from another TUI Blue family hotel and had a great time so we're looking at something similar.

I had a quick look at the Alcudia Pins reviews on TripAdvisor and the reviews were quite mixed.

We went to Pirates Village and couldn't fault it. Its only 3 stars though.

Great pool, entertainment, food and close to the beach.

We went to Alcudia zafiro palace for a few years when kids smaller- fantastic! Great pools, kids activities, location, rooms & service.

Protur Safari Park is fab!

We enjoyed Iberostar Cala Barca, the rooms were good as had two separate sleeping areas.

Zafiro hotels are brilliant but haven't done AI with them so can't vouch for the food. Lovely hotels though and great pools

Protutor biomar or Sa Coma playa Mallorca

Mrsmch123 · 07/07/2022 22:40

Definitely not proture safari park, it's a basic 3 star at best. Looks good but food was shit and entertainment even worse🙈

EvelynBeatrice · 08/07/2022 21:14

Yes I'd avoid safari park.

Playa mar hotel in peurto pollensa.

ThickCutSteakChips · 23/07/2022 08:46

There are two Zafiro hotels (Tropic and Palace, which is more expensive) in Alcudia and they both get really good reviews.

There are two Alcudia Pins hotels, the Grupotel one, which I suspect is the one you've looked at, is actually in Playa De Muro which is stunning but very quiet and quite a distance for the port and strip.

We look for self catering in quiet places and are going to Muro soon, sounds like the opposite to your requirements. I don't know the type of hotels you're looking for but nice family resorts are Cala Millor, Sa Coma, Puerto Pollensa, Alcudia (port area), possibly Santa Ponsa or Palma Nova as they are shorter transfers but a bit more British in vibe.

Oh I'm really surprised! We went to the Protur Safari Park about 3 years ago and it was fab, just have changed!

Club del Sol in Puerto Pollensa

FlippinOmicron · 23/07/2022 10:29

Isn't Puerto Pollensa nicer than Alcudia ?

We stayed there a few years ago and it was great.

Randomuser9876 · 23/07/2022 11:45

I think PP is nicer than Alcudia. Although Alcudia still OK.

Pollensa itself is lovely but 15mins inland

feliznavidad2 · 23/07/2022 11:54

Agree with Playa Mar in Puerto Pollensa
