Outbound easyJet flight cancelled. Will they cancel return flight with a different booking?

We've booked to go to Hamburg in August and that flight has been cancelled. Also booked to fly back from Amsterdam with easyJet, this hasn't been cancelled yet. Will they let us cancel the return flight even though it was on a different booking? Anyone been in this position?

I'd rather cancel than rebook for alternative flights as it seems such a headache with flight cancellations this summer.

A friend was. She got her return cancelled eventually but had to phone them up, there was no option for doing it online. Took her ages to reach an actual human but they were totally reasonable once she actually got through.

They may not if it was done as two separate one way fares. If you booked it as one return ticket but with different arrival / departure airports then yes they should.

We had this problem with some flights booked through Expedia.
