Travelling with medication

I've recently been put on prescribed medication which I put into one of those daily boxes alongside my vitamins.

How would I travel abroad with this? Do I need original packaging or could my prescription on the NHS app suffice?

You need the original packaging.

I take everything in the original bottles and spend a bit of time sorting into my pill caddy when I reach my destination. It’s a complete pain because when we travel that means pulling out the boxes things like inhalers and epipens came in. I don’t actually insert them back into the boxes, I just carry them with me flattened.

I just travel with one days worth in a sorted pill container. I take meds 5 times a day so it’s necessary and no one has ever given me trouble over having the travel day sorted into something convenient as long as I have the originals available.
