Hi all

Any reviews for this location? We're thinking of going here on holiday this summer?

Any hotel recommendations greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I really like Cala d'or and I'm a fussy bugger. Very good if you have children. It's purpose built and not really close to other resorts either- so you either have to be happy to be resort based or get a car. Lovely coves so nice for swimming- it gets very busy. I would look at the brand new hotel that's just reopened at Cala Ferrara - it's the old Ponent playa- looks very nice. There are some decent aparthotel complexes too. There is a nice one located on the main cove too - I think it's called the Rocador. I first went in the 80s when it was quite new and went back last year wondering if it would be a bit run down and was pleased to see it was still pretty nice

We have always gone when are each of our children we're only about 10 weeks old and really liked it . Short flight , lovely marina , nice restaurants. Haven't been for a while now but would recommend

I think it’s a bit further out from there but we’re just back from the insotel cala mandia and it was honestly amazing! Effectively four hotels with a number of pools each that you could visit, all directly across the road from each other. One of the hotels was particularly child friendly and had like a Siam park level splash park with slides, a pirate ship, toddler pool etc. I think you’d struggle to beat it with kids. Never before have I gone to an all inclusive and actually decided against going out for dinner because the buffet just has so much choice!

Cala d'or is lovely. Really nice resort, has a nice buzz to it and doesn't feel too brits abroad. The beaches are lovely too.

So sorry I've only just seen these replies!!!

We've decided on Greece as there is no COVID restrictions, my son hasn't had his second jab yet and it's too stressful waiting for a Covid test result 1 day before flying...😵‍💫🫣

I would like to try to next year though so thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
