Need some help finding a hol for next yr with DC (5 yrs). Since they were born we've done villa holidays which we love but, I feel 10 days/2 wks of that nxt year won't be enough for them , we were stretching it this yr. Think they need some organised activities and/or other children of a similar age.
I have a few on my radar mainly Ikos and Sani and a few others of the same ilk, honestly not sure they're my vibe anymore (apart from the children) I would have loved what I perceive the vibe at these places in my 20's/early 30's. But I have mellowed as I've gotten older and don't have time to be fully glammed up for sitting round the pool. Perhaps I am being terribly judgemental but, I imagine it to be all Louis and Longchamp beach bags, and Hermes belts and flip flops, super sterile rooms/decor and a transfer of DC's private nursery school gates atmosphere at the children's clubs. I'd quite like a break from all those shenanigans.
I'd like somewhere of a nice standard and with good food but somewhere with a more laid back and rustic look/feel ideally with easy access to a nice beach. The rooms don't have to be fully liveable iykwim but a small kitchenette area and a washing machine would be ideal.
Totally open to any location as long as it's safe for DC.
