Have been travelling with TUI for years, holiday villages and TUI blue family. Lovely memories.

Our last trip for half term in Canaries was awful, hotel too full, Sun beds reserved at 6am food awful. Want something different.

This hotel in south of France has come up, thinking it might be too posh for us, we do a bit of tennis, swimming, I like sailing. DH doesn’t swim due to medical reasons, will he be bored? If we are not sporty will we stand out?

DC love holiday clubs, we like evening entertainment. Is this a nice option? Can’t decide. Wise Mumsnetters have you been recently? What’s it like?

We’ve done 2 Club Med holidays, not that resort though, but found at both of them:
-You don’t have to do anything so definitely no standing out for not being sporty, we mostly chilled by the pool
-Sun loungers a plenty and no issues with finding any
-It’s very French, so the food is really good because the French wouldn’t stand for anything less, however the kids clubs can be French kids heavy (DH is French and the kids speak it so it’s a non issue for us)
-Unless you’re in an Exclusive Collection bit then it’s not posh, comfortable but basic is how I’d describe it
-There is a lot of evening entertainment, people swinging on trapezes seems to a signature feature, we mostly swerved it though

We’ve been to this resort three times, not since 2016 though as it became too expensive for us as the kids got older. I’d agree with what PP says, there’s no pressure to do anything at all, but tons to do if you want to be active. We loved it! Kids still talk about it.

The site feels lovely and spacious, and safe for the kids to roam. The beach and sand dunes are great. There’s a path along the coast in both directions which is great for bikes. The site has 2 restaurants and the quality of food and drink was always excellent.

Happy memories!

Hi can anyone help. We are looking for rooms in Club Med for 2 x adults 3 x children.
The price results come up to say "Interconnecting Superior Rooms" but it is not clear if this is 1 x room that 5 of us are expected to share or 2 bedrooms that interconnect?
Please can someone clarify- this is really confusing on the website and I am sure causes a lot of people the same confusion.

Each time we went we had 2 bedrooms, with either a bathroom in between or luggage/wardrobe space. But I think they’ve had a revamp since then. It might be worth phoning to clarify.
