Newly single solo holiday with DC 13 and 11

Where can I book for this summer for me and DC 13 and 11? Will be by first holiday on my own with them post-separation.

Ideally Europe on the train. Easy, somewhere they can meet other kids but safe. Happy to rent a car/drive a bit. Good food - don’t want to cook!

Where is the holy grail? Budget about £4k

We always go to a Belambra in France, there are loads of them. Excellent food. You probably need to be able to speak French though, they try to pretend to be international on their website but it only seems to be French people who actually go to them.

Thanks, I’ll take a look.

Otherwise maybe a Eurocamp place for more international socialising for the kids? I think most of them have some sort of restaurant on site and some have great pool complexes and things as well. If I was holidaying alone with children that age I'd want somewhere with a chance of them disappearing off with other children quite quickly so you actually get a bit of a break!

Centerparcs.eu and duinrell are good fun.

Would you not consider flying? Magic life hotels look great!
