Please help me find a nice aparthotel/farm stay type place in northern france for my family. We are 4 people.

Needs:
Child friendly (6 yr olds)
Have a pool
Preferably breakfast included
Cycling friendly
Car parking
Near to shops/restaurants
Under 3 hours driving from Calais

We don't like the massive holiday village type thing.

Can anyone help?

Does it have to be Calais? I'm asking because if you are able to do a crossing to Normandy, you open up a number of new areas, including those that are only a short drive from Cherbourg for example.

Should've said, we would like to drive through the euro tunnel. It's cheaper than a ferry

There's a campsite at Guînes near to the Azincourt museum that has a pool, snack bar, chalets and a logis de France hôtel on site. Less than an hour from Calais.

Thanks- but it's fully booked for our dates

When are you going?

Fivemoreminutes1 · 21/06/2022 17:04

La Bourdonnerie www.labourdonnerie.com/en/das-grundstuck/

Have a look at Le Crotoy on the Baie de Somme https://www.pierreetvacances.com/gb-en/fpCYLL_self-catering-crotoy-plage?currency=GBP Nature reserve with cycling etc. You can have breakfast delivered.

When you say ‘drive through the euro tunnel’ ?

When you say ‘drive through the euro tunnel’ ?

Ha. I mean sit in the car whilst the train carries us through the euro tunnel

1st week of august

France is particularly busy then.

glitterbranapple · 21/06/2022 17:49

There is some smaller eurocamp type places in Northern France with availability still for first week in August

newtb · 21/06/2022 22:44

There's also a site called amivac.com, which might have something.

Also look at Pierre et Vacances for aparthotels. Goelia.com
