Travel rules for France

Hi does anyone know what are the travel rules for people travelling from UK to France who have not had a booster jab but they second dose was over 9 months ago.

Are traveller without a booster considered unvaccinated? Do they need a ‘compelling reason’ to travel or can they travel for a holiday? Would an antigen suffice before travelling?

The advice is not clear on the government website.

Thanks in advance

According to gov.uk they would be considered unvaccinated and would need a negative PCR test 72hrs before travel, or negative antigen within 48hrs of departure. These would need to be done privately. Might need to complete a digital Passenger Locator Form as well
