Child first passport - how long have you waited?

I applied for one of my children's first passport mid May and havent got it yet. I looked online and it says documents received. I am worried as we leave in less than four weeks. I have tried calling but cant find an option to speak to anyone. Can I ask how long you waited for a child's first passport if you received it recently? Thank you.

Sent my docs Mid-may (11th?) . It took 3 weeks to get the acknowledgement text them receiving the documents but then got the passport yesterday.

I've been waiting a month. Documents received, no other update. I renewed 2 other kids passports at the same time and they've come back.
Reading other threads/posts, it does seem to be luck of the draw though. There doesn't seem to be any logic behind why some are quick and some aren't.

Seriously? It takes up to 10 weeks 🙄

Send the documents 12th May and I received it on Monday 13th June

I have got a message to say the application has been approved and is now being printed. Does anyone know how many weeks it took to receive after that?

Phew!

My 2 arrived in less than a week after that message.

My child's arrived in less than a week after the printing.

Still waiting from 26th April! Have called numerous times as they want my marriage certificate but they already have it from my renewal and it hasn't come back yet, my new passport arrived over 2 weeks ago!

I keep being told it can be linked to my application, have given the pex numbers 3 times over the phone and sent 2 emails and still got a letter yesterday after texts/emails last week saying send your documents!

Still waiting from 14th April - 9 weeks & counting. Stuck in Belfast office somewhere. We fly next Thursday, I left it 11 weeks between applying and flying and it's not looking good.

Sent both DC’s documents off on the 10th May, DS’s were received on the 19th May, Approved on the 6th June and got his passport on the 9th June.

DD’s docs were received on the 24th May and nothing since, but they did get sent to different offices.

@Derbybound2022 what office did you send your application documents too if you don't mind me asking.

I'm still waiting on my little ones and sent away mid May too. It was updated documents received 6th June so hoping not too long now.
