Fast track first child passport

Hi guys, I've booked a fast track appointment in a passport office for my daughter's first passport. I can't seem to find any information on whether my daughter needs to attend the appointment too. Just trying to figure out whether I need to deal with travelling 2 hours each way with her or if it's not necessary.
I'm questioning whether she needs to be present because we've had the passport photos counter signed to confirm true likeness of her.
Does anyone have an experience going to an appointment who could help clarify?

My daughter didn’t need to attend for her fast track application although the officer did ask me where she was. I think though it was more of a formality, part of their checking procedures and wasn’t an interrogation! The website does say you can send someone in your place for a fast track application so in this case you would be attending in your daughter’s place, I guess.
