lactose free products in France

Just thought I'd pass this on in case anyone else has a lactose intolerant in the family:

the only dairy free margarine spread I could find was called Fruit d'Or omega 3 + 6 (normal Fruit d'Or and just about everything else has added lactose)

Also, beware of soya biscuits - those too had added lactose.

Most Bledina baby and toddler savoury meals are non-dairy.

You can get soya formula in most supermarkets, big supermarkets stock a ready made vitamin and mineral enhanced soya follow-on milk (lait de croissance), and pharmacies can get Nutramigen formula to order (and it's cheaper than here).

Standing in a packed supermarket reading the small print on New Year's Eve was an interesting experience...
