Holiday recommendations for Teens

Can anyone recommend a good hotel / place to go on holiday that teens will also enjoy?

How much money do you have? Depends on what your teens like! Ours liked wildlife and we did safaris. We also did Caribbean islands where they could snorkel and see fish and turtles. We did skiing. We always did a mix of relaxation and exploring. They liked holidays with other teens such as offered by Families Worldwide. Otherwise it’s anywhere with a teen club!

It really does depend on what your teens are like.
Mine liked city breaks so we always did those but made sure the hotel had a pool.

My teens would enjoy being able to socialise with other teens and play water and land sports. One would like a gym and a town close by and we'd all like to be able to walk to the beach!

We've booked a California road trip (family holiday of a lifetime for us - eldest off to uni after A-levels, and youngest also doing GCSEs.). San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, back to the coast to drive down the Pacific coast Highway via Monterey (including whale watching), Cambria, Santa Barbara, Laguna Beach & San Diego. We can't wait.

V expensive, though, espcially post pandemic. And it has taken so much planning (we started planning before COVID!)

We did the same as@CurlyhairedAssassin when our kids were teens and they loved it, ditto New York. Another successful holiday we did a few days in Budapest followed by over night train to Croatia and explored this country . Our most sucessful holidays with teens have always been when we have moved around quite a bit and explored countries otherwise ours tend to retreat to their hotel rooms and on to technology.

We also went to Boston, Cape Cod and then train to NY. That worked well. Or go up the coast from Cape Cod. Lots to see and do. We try snd avoid driving huge distances.

you just want a beach resort then. Near a town but anywhere! That opens up just about any resort with a teen club. Start looking at Powder Byrne snd scale back if it’s too pricy. Forte Resort in Sardinia might suit.
