EasyJet compensation

Hi. Please can you let me know how long it took to receive compensation for a cancelled flight from EasyJet? Our return flight was cancelled and there wasn't availability for another flight with EasyJet for 5 days so we booked a new flight and requested a refund. The refund was processed very quickly (after 3 days) but we are still out of pocket by several hundred pounds and I'm wondering if we're likely to receive our compensation before the credit card bill needs paying! Thanks

Hi our compensation for our cancelled flights with Easyjet took around 2 weeks from when we sent the form to them. When did you send your request?

Thanks. We only applied on Tuesday and weren't expecting to receive it immediately but we've already had the credit card bill so was looking for some comfort that we were likely to receive it before we need to pay that!
