Iberostar ciudad Blanca in Alcudia. Been twice (and we never do that). Yards from a gorgeous beach and v good food.

We always got a bargain by booking direct and early but prices have gone up so not sure how much it will be next year. We have always had the most basic apartment which was fine

Haven't been to the Alcudia Park but it's further away from Alcudia Port (a nice stroll in the evening). The Cuidad Blanca is on the nicest stretch of beach in my opinion.

We also went to the Viva Blue which is near Alcudia Park. Lovely hotel (probably the dcs favourite) but a few minutes' walk from the beach rather than right on it. And as before the beach isn't as nice - narrower and a bit more seaweedy (when we went at least).

Alcudia old town is lovely - the rest of Alcudia is typical tourist resort.

There's also the Viva Sunrise which again is lovely but I'd say for slightly younger dc (you don't say how old yours are). Again a few mins walk from the beach. A few mins walk from the Ciudad Blanca.

Do DM me if you want more info.

Single parent here.

Been to both Alcudia (we did the family hotel with water park attached) and also Santa Ponsa.

Santa Ponsa was lovely with the bay and everything nearby to do. We did boat trips, go ape type of thing etc.

Alicia was nice with the port and the market but the transfers are much further away and if you want days out to stuff south of the island it's a long way!

Sorry just seen your message. We had AI so we didn't eat out and we were mainly too lazy to do excursions. There's a lovely walk to the harbour along the beach (about 30-40 mins I think) and Alcudia old town is lovely with a great market on some days.

Have a fabulous time.
