Hi, we have to be at an event in Carnac in 2nd week of August so want to make a bit of a holiday out of it. We can only stay a week and will do Dover-Calais ferry (can’t do longer ferries). Any advice on timings of ferries and how far in advance need to be at port and what happens if get stuck in traffic and miss it? We live 1.45 hrs drive from Dover and fine with the drive in one go in France . Thanks
