Safest Caribbean island for baby and toddler

Looking to book a holiday to the Caribbean in October/November for 10-14 nights. Our daughters will be 2.5 years old and 6 months old.

I'm wondering which island would be best to book considering safety and also healthcare quality should either of them be poorly whilst we're there...

Our travel options seem to be Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Antigua, St Lucia and Cuba, possibly Aruba. Travelling from London.

We would stay in the resort mostly, venturing out on 3/4 excursions perhaps.

Anyone been to multiple islands or have a knowledge of the Caribbean?
Also any hotel recommendations would be much appreciated, we like evening entertainment and lots to do in the day around the hotel but not into kids club (we don't want to leave our daughters without us at any point).

Have lived or visited all of the places on your list. They are all different, but for a reasonable package holiday, Jamaica or Dominican Republic will be best. Very different places, but as tourists in AI places, you would be safe and happy in either. Barbados is very pricey, but the beaches are the best, with the exception of Turks & Caicos. I find Barbados beautiful and “developed,” but overpriced and unfriendly.

Jamaica is my number 1 for the Caribbean. You have more choices of things to do, diverse and beautiful landscape, and the best local cuisine. One love 🇯🇲

Jamaica is a place I would never go back to. I didn’t feel at all safe there.

i love cuba and feel very safe there. Everyone is so friendly but the hotels are hit and miss. Amazing food though. I’ve been to varadero twice out there and the food was absolutely fine but the weather was all over the place and that was over Christmas.
