Anyone been and can let me know what it's like? Thinking of visiting early October. Will have a 3 month old and a niece and nephew to travel with.

We used to go there when the kids were little and loved it. Was a few years ago though. I really liked the spa which is in one of the hotels.

Went with my daughter when she was 7 she loved it. Also went when she was 10- she was getting a bit to old for it. So imo great for primary age kids.

Popular with stag and hen parties and for theme weekends. Maybe try and find some recent online reviews to give you some perspective. My kids loved it there but it was years ago.

Went last month with a 2 year old for the tots week. It was great. Lots to do, swimming pool is new and great for children. The site in general was nicely presented and clean. Accommodation we stayed in was basic but clean (self catering). Overall was great value and we booked another trip there before we'd even left.

We took Dts when they were 6, they loved it. They have been on some pretty good holidays but it's buins they still talk about. We are going back in December they'll be just 11 so on the cusp of being too old but we'll get one more holiday out of it.

Stay in the hotel if you can, some
Of the chalets look pretty ropey.

Your children will love it. It is the only holiday in the UK that is really designed for children. Mine went from toddlers right through to teens. They still enjoyed going even after they outgrew Centre Parcs (much to my dismay). For you, it's rather boring, as you're just sat around waiting for your children all the time. However, I liked sitting with a good book, so didn't mind too much.

Agree - stay in the hotels (much nicer!) do the panto - that's fab. The swimming pool is now decent and the rides are all free, so once you're there, it's cheap. Choose one of the preschooler weekends and you'll avoid large parties.
