Anyone know of a reputable villa rental/letting agent in France?

Me and DH along with 2DS are looking to go to France (not to bothered which part- although any hints would be nice) and I am dragging my feet a little as I find it hard to trust someone I don't know with £500+ of my money. Has anyone got any any recommendations? Or a villa in France

When are you hoping to go? Our house is rented for most of this year unfortunately.

Also another mumsnetter has a v family-friendly villa in the south west of France, I think she advertises in the small business ads on here.

We have used Welcome Cottaes and Cottages for you for places in both North and South France. Using Holiday-lettings for Spain this year, they also do France - will find out in March if any good!

We went to spain last year with a dutch company called clubvillamar last year (off the net)They were good and high standards of accommodation. I think they do most european countries.

Just a recommendation - we have used Holiday Villas (see Mrs Wednesdays post) to book our house/villa in France every year for the last 5 years. It is a fantastic site and in our experience every house has been absolutely what we expected. No nasty surprises. Enjoy your trip!
