Would really like to book a week at an all inclusive / half board resort for October... what puts me off the ones I've looked at so far are all the beds being in one room or a fold out bed for the kids being in the lounge. We'd like some privacy from the kids!! Would be me, DH, a 2 Yr old and a 5 Yr old. Must have a kids club and a pool, maybe near a beach - don't mind where in Europe as long as it's warm. Any recommendations of places you've been recently that would fit the bill? Thank you 😀

Hi, you might find that booking your flights and accommodation separately gives you many more options. We usually book out flights with easy jet or BA and then book the hotel with Booking.com. tends to work out a bit cheaper and you have the option to book a 2 room suite etc. we just got back from Dubrovnik having done this, was fab! Stunning rooms and resort. Have also done this all over Italy, Malta etc. on booking.com it's easy to filter by board type or if there's a resort/hotel you really like, message them directly and ask if they have meal packages. Hope you find somewhere lovely!

October I'd look at the canaries. Google aparthotels. There are loads in Spanish mainland so I'm sure that also applies to the canaries.

Sorry no suggestions but I'm looking for the same thing!

when I started looking I searched for aparthotels. If you look on TUI for the family friendly resorts some of those are aparthotel type places. I found one that has 1 bedroom apartments (so you could put the kids in the bedroom and sleep on the sofa bed).

We have found Turkey or Egypt tend to have rooms with separate areas that don't cost the earth

CLC kusadasi is where we are meant to be staying subject to passport office delays but they are all inclusive and seperate bedrooms

Just returned from an All Inclusive in Corfu which was a room with a double and 2x singles, and had an internal door between, which provided excellent privacy.

The 2x singles were proper beds but the double were 2x singles pushed together. The division was excellent for our young teen, but it stopped our ability to see the view from the double bed which was a shame. Also meant we had to go through their room to get to/from the balcony, but it was well worth the separation.

Resort was called Roda Beach Resort on the North of the Island. 3 hour flight and 1 hour transfer.

Was a good value 3* AI, with kids club, entertainment, multiple pools, couple of slides and three restaurants in addition to the main dining room.

Can't say what it's like in October, but was very hot (28-30° each day) and made a great base for exploring the island.

October half term is tricky weather wise. I would say your best bets for sun are Cyprus or the Canaries. Turkey possibly. Greece can be hit and miss at that time, same for most of southern Europe.

It’s worth checking if pools are heated as it can be too chilly for little ones otherwise.

Cyprus - Columbia Beach Resort (one bedroom or two bedroom apartments have separate rm for kids).

Tenerife - Roca Nivaria has family rooms with separate kids’ room. Kids club will take your 2 yr old which is very unusual, most start at age 3/4.
Baobab Suites has apartments of varying sizes, kids club from age 4.
Hotel Suites Villa Maria has apartments with shared pool and restaurant. I think there is a kids club.

Lanzarote - Princesa Yaiza has family rooms with (I think) a separate bunk room for kids, and a kids club.

These are all 4 or 5* so fairly toppy budget wise.

Thank you all so much for these suggestions! They sound perfect. I'll get looking.

We went to H10 Lanzarote Gardens when ours were that age and it was nice, there was just one bedroom and a sofa bed in the sitting room but we had a kitchenette and the apartment was ground floor with a spacious terrace. It was well set up for young kids and they took toddlers in their creche ( ours wouldn't stay but great if they would!)

The Aliathon holiday Village in Paphos, Cyprus is worth a look, haven't been for a good few years but we loved it and think it ticks all your boxes.

We're off to Royal Son Bou Family Club in Menorca which would fit your requirements
