Holidays
Lake Garda area with very large group

We're planning a big family trip for next year and one of the options we're thinking about is the Lake Garda area.
Has anyone been that could recommend somewhere nice to stay that would be suitable for a very large group of multiple families? About 10 adults and 7 kids. Somewhere we can book multiple cabins or small villas would be ideal as there's no chance we'd all fit in a single villa that would be in any way affordable.
Holiday parks would suit us, but not camping or caravans. Is Bella Italia nice if you book the apartments/bungalows?

Usually renting one big place is cheaper than several small places. Obviously you then split the cost (fairest way to do it is generally by room).

I think that is true up to a point, but once you're up to nearly 20 people the villas seem to be mostly classed as 'luxury' (unsurprisingly because they are very large and impressive buildings) and even once you divide the price I'm not sure it would be cheaper. 2 or 3 families it would probably be true.

How about www.poiano.com/en-mob/resort.php?idCat=2
We stayed there when our children were small. We had a hotel room but it also had self catered apartments. It had a shuttle bus that run to the centre of Garda.
