I have gone in through the NHS (Scotland) website and requested a paper copy of my Covid vaccine certificate and I have also downloaded a copy.

Do I need the app on my phone as well to access the certificate through or will the paper copy (or PDF) be enough? I thought I'd read that it's required for international travel? I'd tried getting into the app but it wanted a pic of my ID. I'm using my driving licence as my passport is in my old name and the Doctor's receptionist told me to just take my marriage cert with me as proof of who I am along with the certificate.

I then faffed around trying to take pics of my driving licence to upload to the app but gave up as I couldn't get it in focus enough and it kept telling me the pic was blurry. Do I need to do this before I go or is the certificate (when it arrives) enough? Thanks
