Tunisia?

I’m currently looking to book a summer holiday, late I know!

Anyway, Tunisia is coming up as one of the cheaper options. I’ve never considered here. Is there any reason why I should avoid? I’m wondering why it’s cheaper?

the holiday is for myself and my 9 year old son.

I have been 4 times. I love it but it is a marmite destination. People seem to either love or hate it. Very cheap, great weather, friendly people. Lots of haggling in shops which many find intimidating but there are also fixed price shops (or there used to be, I haven't had a holiday since 2014 for personal reasons). A small tip goes a long way.
