Uk mini break recommendations with children

Hi, can anyone recommend any places for a mini break with two little ones please? Ds is 3.5 and dd is 10 months. We've not stayed anywhere as a family of 4 yet so would like to test it out with a nearby mini break. We live in Essex so anywhere within a 50/60 mile radius would be great as dd does not like the car. Any suggestions? Thank you.

What about Haven. The Orchards is in Essex. Havens are great with young kids. The characters, playgrounds, activities etc.

One of our best family holidays was at the Orchards in Clacton onSea staying in a caravan. It was such a novelty, the kids loved it. It was a short “Sun” cheap holiday. You can get there by train.
