Passport help please - Corby office!

Due to travel 6th June. Have one child renewal back but not the other. DS1 passport was sent to Corby which I can't seem to find on any list of passport offices that other people have kindly provided! Last update was processing on 28th April. I have phoned the passport advice line which has an option for travel within the next two weeks, asks you to enter the passport application and DOB - and then cuts you off without speaking to anyone 😡. Lost cause?

Corby is near Peterborough so it could be this office. Join the Facebook group ‘passport chaos 22’ there’s lots of info there. I have just now got back all my passport renewals which is a relief as we go on Tuesday. I did email and call but I’ve no idea if this helped at all.

Thank you, I did email the Peterborough upgrade team hoping that they would cover Corby too but no real idea if it will have any effect. Haven't seen anybody else mentioning Corby either which worried me a bit! Will have a look at the facebook group now, thanks for the tip

Having just had a successful resolution to a passport nightmare, call 01633745709 as soon as the lines open and ask for the progress team. Explain situation. The Facebook group is helpful but terrifying. You need to attach proof of flight and keep telling people that it was booked before things got this bad.

If you ring just before they close you get an automated call back option and they should then call you back within 36 hours. I did this on a Thursday Eve and got a call back on the Saturday and had passport by the Tuesday. Or turn up at the office , I've read people are getting theirs the same day after turning up. Good luck, I hope you get it in time. So stressful
