Bordeaux with kids

Hi all, going to Bordeaux in August with friends, between us we have 3 kids ages 7, 4 and 3. We're staying in a place called Salles, Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Any suggestions for activities welcome!

Also looks like it's near a lake, it's common there for the lakes to be like beaches in summer with activities for the kids, lifeguards etc. So worth a Google.
