Jet2 - with 2 buggies?

Hi everyone,

We're flying to Spain with Jet2 next month. I know my daughter (18 months) has an infant equipment allowance, so we're bringing a lightweight stroller for her (5.5kg). My son is 4 but just thinking it would also be easier to have a buggy for him so that he can nap on holiday and we can get around more easily without him whinging in the heat. What I can't work out is can I also take a buggy for free for him? There seems to be a 10kg limit which is attached to my daughter's ticket, but the two strollers together would be 12.5kg, but I can't work out if it would be on a separate ticket for his or if I'm just overthinking it! Anyone taken 2 kids/strollers and can advise?

Thanks!

Not Jet2, but I took an umbrella stroller on Emirates for a 4yo and no one batted an eyelid.

I think under 5’s they are usually fine for you to take a buggy on most airlines. Give them a wee message on messenger to check though. I’ve always found them quite quick to respond x

@KEG05 Thanks that's a good idea, I'll do that.

Worth asking.

We're not taking a pushchair for either of ours (5 and 3) we aren't planning to leave the hotel much and 3 year old doesn't nap any more.

We might do a siesta in the room though so they can stay up a bit later.

What style fold is your lightweight one? If it's a z fold (and the dimensions work) could you take that as one of your hand luggage pieces and then have the other buggy as the infant allowance?

It will be fine to take a buggy per child. Buggies are extra and don't need included in the allowances

Is this a holiday or a flight OP? Each person gets 10kg hand luggage allowance for free so the buggy for your son would come out of his allowance.

Would your 4 year old get in a buggy? Mine would have refused but I know some who would have been quite happy too.

Hello OP, I'd like to find out did you get on the plane with your two buggies in the end? We are in exactly the same situation this year!
