Manchester airport fast track

Is it worth it? We have a 6am flight out of T2 on saturday morning early July. Fast track has become available but is it worth it? Won't the queues for this be just as bad as the normal queues due to the amount of people paying for this because of the well publicised queues?

No experience of Manchester lately but it seems to be suffering the same problems as Leeds Bradford, no way would I pay for fast track, I flew from Leeds a couple of weeks ago and it was mayhem, the people in the fast track line were not going anywhere any faster than the rest of us.
My advice to you is to get there early, people were missing their flights at Leeds despite arriving in plenty of time, ignore the usual 2hr rule and arrive at least 3hrs early.

I was fortunate to do a lot of first/business class travel pandemic. I would always use fast track if affordable when not. My only concern might be the number of people who will also upgrade based on media scare stories. Outside chance that you have more people using fewer scanners… Remember though you don’t have to use it if the queue looks worse on the day but really I think worse case scenario is no not very fast Fast Track.

Hopefully someone will come along with recent experience of Manchester.

That's what I thought. It's relatively affordable for most people so there probably wouldn't be much difference in the speed getting through. I think some tour operators offer it free with their holidays which will also increase numbers

I did fast track through Manchester a few weeks back and it was definitely worth it. Still a queue but much, much shorter. If it's available I would book it.

Once so many people have booked for that day, it becomes no longer available - it's not as if everyone can book it.

Definitely worth it. Manchester airport is hideous atm

Firstshoes · 23/05/2022 10:52

....for those that did what time would I need to book it for? I fly at 6am but advised to get to airport at 3am. Don't want to get through check in then have to wait for fast track. ..sorry if I'm being thick!
