Help me book a holiday for next week!?

Got next week booked off for half term need a holiday anywhere!

Would love to go abroad but don't know where to start or can go in UK

2 adults one 10 year old girl

Budget about 3k abroad and I suppose would want to only spend half that if in UK

Want somewhere where dd can potentially make a friend but also a bit of luxury for us

Any ideas?

So I've narrowed it down to-

A week in Greece £££-££££
A week in balaeric islands ££-£££
A week in a holiday park in Uk £
4 nights in a luxury lodge with spa and hot tub ££

Pound signs denote grand 😩

The abroad options range from self catering to AI.

UK are SC

Obviously weather likely to be better in Greece than spin and maybe pools will be too cold in Spain.

What would you do?

Go UK holiday park so dd can take a friend ...no airports to contend with.
Where in the UK are you OP?

Canaries or mainland Spain often better value than Mallorca. I’d prefer them to uk myself. Have you looked at cruises from Southampton, only problem if going abroad is that you might need to pay for supervised lateral flow tests and companies might be quite booked up for next week now.

This place is really lovely, weather will be great. Good choice of al a carte restaurants, great service throughout.

Lots of nice places in Gran Canaria on jet2 that fit the budget

We don't know anyone well enough yet to take on holiday with us for dd but working on it.

Thanks for suggestions .. dh not keen on canaries or Egypt ( we've been before pre dd)

I just can't get over that paying 1 or 2k in the Uk to essentially stay in a nicer place than our home but still do the same things is a holiday!

The jet2 holidays website is quite good for browsing as you can select any number of departure airports and destinations (it drives me mad when you're limited to one choice at a time!)

Neilsons are a bit over budget (about £1200 pp) flying on Sat or Sun (depending on resort and departure airport) but that's all inclusive or the majority of meals included and activities with great kids clubs for your DD.
