Italy - help!

We are travelling to Italy tomorrow. Both fully vaccinated but no boosters yet.

I skim read entry requirements weeks ago and thought our covid passes would be fine. Just checked again, and for 2 doses, second dose must be no more than 270 days ago. Ours were more than that.

Just read you can get in with a negative lateral flow test. Does anyone know if this can be a normal NHS lateral flow test? I can't see any guidance anywhere!!

Thanks

Are you sure? Here it looks like there is no limit for the booster: www.salute.gov.it/portale/nuovocoronavirus/dettaglioContenutiNuovoCoronavirus.jsp?lingua=english&id=5412&area=nuovoCoronavirus&menu=vuoto&tab=1

The OP doesn't have a booster and there is a time limit on the second dose.

You can't use an NHS test. You need one of the special travel ones as you need a certificate.

You need the LFT to be certified. You are too late to sort an online one but pharmacies offer the service.
