Holidaying Abroad Alone

Hi

Is there a cheap way to do this? All the usual suspects charge a lone traveller premium unless you spend a lot in the first place. I just want a fly and flop for one week mid June before I start a new role.
Thank you!

Book a flight and airbnb rather than a package. I am going to Spain alone next month and have managed to get a great airbnb with a pool and garden for 40 quid a night.

Thanks both! Am scouring Mercury (many are not actually available when you click thru!?) and Airbnb is a great idea!

Take a look at Booking.com too for hotels, b&b & private rentals OP. You can book your flight direct with your chosen airline.
