Seriously considering this, Aug 08. We plan to booking direct with the site. Anyone any experience of this site at all?

This is NOT my recommendation, but cut from the one review on Tripadvisor, dated Sep 07

Stayed at Le Ranolien for a week at the end of August. Stunning location, great campsite. Good pool complex ( although not as good as one at Les Mouettes, Carantec), good sports facilities - football, basketball, badminton, mimi tennis, table tennis, boules. 18 hole crazy golf, play area and assaault course for young children. Entertainment in bar, shop, gift shop, snack bar, creperie , video game room. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area with children you can't go wrong. We booked via Siblu however if went again would book direct with the site and if you can afford it, go for one of their 7 ile mobile homes - stunning views of coastline from them. Stunning safe beaches within 5 - 20 mins walk & drive in either direction. Approx 1hr 15 mins from Roscoff ferry port.

Hi miljee, I stayed at Le Ranolien in Brittany July 07 for 2 weeks. I was with my DH, DS (11 months) and our best friends (husband and wife) with their 2 DDs (age 6 years and 16 months). We have a truly fantastic time, everyone loved it and there was enough to keep everyone busy and happy. We have good weather (not too hot for the kids but enough to catch a few rays for us!) but on the couple of wet days we found stuff to do in nearby towns. There were bbqs outside each caravan, loungers chairs table but also variety of restaurants nearby too if you fancied venturing off site. Hope this is the kind of thing you wanted to know but if you want any more info just let me know...
