I have paid the holiday in full, we go in August. Just checking and looking on the app at what I need to do. I have noticed that I haven't added my partners date of birth for some reason. Me and the kids are on there. I went to add the change and it wants to charge me £300!!! Is that right? I haven't added the passport details yet so I will do that. Will that suffice? Or will I really need to pay £300 to add his DOB. I feel so daft and really don't have a spare £300 Confused

I'd pop into one of their stores. I'm sure they can do it for you. It should have been done when you booked. Did you book online?

rainydogday · 15/05/2022 20:54

Yes I booked online last year. I will call them
Tomorrow, not sure we have a store near us. I can understand if I was changing or adding another passenger. I have added all the passport details in now but the booking form is still missing his date of birth......

@rainydogday They only ask the lead passengers dob and all childrens dob. Book with TUI all the em time and the second adults dob is never o bathe booking.

HighSea · 15/05/2022 21:00

@rainydogday not sure what happened there my phone thought it knew best obviously! Should have said they only take the lead passengers dob and all children under 18.

We noticed a recurring glitch with TUI website/App and bookings re DOB.
Partner input his correct DOB (why wouldn’t he know his own DOB) - the website changed it by a day. Not a keying error.

On booking a further trip, the same fault happened yet again - defaulted to wrong date.
Mentioning it here in case it helps anyone else…

These messages have made me less panicky! I am always soooo careful when doing the booking. I have just checked all the dates and it says on there website that if we booked before 31st Jan 2022 changes are fee free. Interesting how it's just DP that is missed so maybe the booking didn't ask?

I have a holiday booked with Tui and I booked my husband as lead passenger and I've just gone onto app and my DOB isn't listed. There is a link to add passport detail so assume that's all they need pre-travel. I hope so anyway! I am generally organised and if they'd have asked for my DOB on booking, I'm 99% sure I would have added it.

Let us know how you get on as I'll be in the same boat if bad news!

rainydogday · 31/08/2022 19:22

Just an update. I didn't amend anything and husbands date of birth not on the passenger forms. No questions asked at all. Grin

That's good news.
