Spending money Majorca

Hi
Family of 4. Two adults and two toddlers.
Booked up for a week self catering summer 2023. Going to upgrade to breakfast while there. Planning on taking packet ramen and pastas for some lunches.
How much should I budget for?
7 evening meals plus a couple of cocktails an evening.
Maybe a few fast food lunches per day. Soft drinks/juice/water through day.
I'm thinking €1000 for the 7 days? Is this realistic or will I need more?

Sorry I meant a few fast food lunches in the week. Ie. Pool lunch etc.

That's roughly 142 per day. Is it just for food and drinks or do activities have to cone out of that?
Depending on what you want to do eating each day I'd say that's enough.
Don't forget you should get a bit extra due to conversion too.

@DolphinaPD I think only activity would be a waterpark for 1day. Should be fine

Where in Majorca are you going? Pollensa is more expensive than Alcudia for example x

Where are you staying?
Sometimes works out best to go AL, doesn't stop you going out for food etc but drinks, ice lollies, snacks etc through the day quickly adds up

We always go AI, it's not much more expensive than SC and you can still go for evening meals out, lunch out, etc but need much less than if you needed to buy every meal. For us, the constant drinks and ice creams alone make it worth it!

Prices are similar to the UK for eating out. We used to budget £2k for a fortnight for 4 pre covid but I expect to spend more this year. We usually buy breakfast food to have in the apartment then lunch would be either a sandwich or meats/cheeses from the supermarket, drinks from the supermarket rather than cafes during the day. Evening we eat out every day. Might do a couple of trips etc. Nothing extravagant. It’s doable on €1k but €1.5k might make it more fun. My kids eat adult portions now though so you will definitely pay less for food, it’s drinks that add up I find.
