Have you received your passport or still waiting?

Just that really. Has anyone applied for a passport as of late and are still waiting. If you have received it, how long did you wait?

I'm applying for my LO first passport (she's 8 weeks) and we travel 5th September to Ibiza. Wondering if we should apply for fast track!

Thanks x

You'll be fine, that's ages away

Me and DH waited 3 weeks from online application to receiving our passports last week. This was the Durham and Hemel Hempstead offices

I applied for my daughter’s 8th April. I’ve just had an email this morning to say it’s being printed so it has taken around 6 weeks altogether.
My husband applied for his on the 30th April and his is already here and has been about a week.

It’s so variable but after speaking to friends, children’s passports do seem to be taking a little longer than adult passports at the moment; although I have only spoken to one person who’s passport application breached the 10 weeks.

Applied 6th May for my renewal, it was printed yesterday and has been sent to the courier.

As yours is a first child passport it may take a few weeks. I'd get an online application in now and keep an eye on the tracking, you've got plenty time to get it sorted.

Thanks all! Spoke to a family member who has a new born daughter and she was 6 weeks too. Don't think I have much to worry about x
