Greece - mask for 6 year old

We are off to Greece for May half term and I read that although covid entry restrictions have been removed, there is still a requirement for all over 4s to wear a face mask indoors and in certain places such as supermarkets and public transport, this has to be N95 or you have to be double masked, including a surgical mask. Not sure if we’ll use public transport or if my 6 year old will need to go in a supermarket but for those who have been in Greece recently, wondered what masks your over 4s wore? We have not left UK since covid and my DD has hardly any experience of wearing a mask. Thanks!

No idea sorry OP but following as we are going in August

My 6 year old wears these. Really comfortable. thefacemaskstore.co.uk/rosimask-childrens-ffp2-face-mask

I’ve just been and it seemed fairly relaxed to me, most of tavernas you can sit outside. I only wore one in the supermarket.

Thanks @ofwarren . Looks like these will do the job and good to hear your 6 year old finds them comfortable.

I think Greece have just dropped all restrictions, there is still a lot of old information circulating. But now I’m going off to check again!

Good to hear, thanks. We’re hoping to be outside nearly all of the time and expect if we need to pop in a supermarket then expect DH or I will go in alone. Just want to be prepared.

Just checked I was wrong - masks still needed indoors however if you read travel forums it seems compliance is quite low. Always best to have some though!

How about vaccination requirements? I'm double jabbed but ds 13 only single jabbed and dd9 has had none

We went a few weeks ago. They asked the front passenger to wear it in the taxi transfer but not the rest of us. In shops we popped them on, but they were a random assortment of fabric / blue paper ones depending on what we had to hand. It was very relaxed though, we didn’t wear it in restaurants, and forgot completely on one of the mini bus transfers and no one said anything. The airport and plane were the only real place where it seemed to be enforced.

Thanks, really useful to hear experiences of those who’ve travelled recently.

@NinetyNineRedBalloonsGoBy Vaccination and testing requirements for entry were dropped from 1 May (believe until 31 August).

The indoor mask rule is the only restriction left in Greece. I'm just taking a pack of the blue amd white ones. I'll put one on for shops and transport, if they say about being double masking I'll have a spare in my pocket to add. Doubt they will though, from what I've read itd not properly inforced anymore.
