I had another thread recently about a trip that I was hoping to plan for school summer holidays in a couple of years time. We will be going for 3 weeks, maybe slightly longer, which is why we are strictly speaking restricted to UK summer holidays. Anyway, some people said I was crazy to consider Florida in August. I've been a few times in August before and found it perfectly pleasant so I'm not quite sure what the fuss is about but I'm willing to accept the possibility that we got lucky with the weather on previous occasions.
I have been considering whether we could take the trip during Easter holidays instead. We'd have to take the kids out of school for an extra week but it won't be a year that coincides with exams or anything like that. We've never taken them out before and they work extremely hard year round so I'm not feeling too guilty about a week off for a special holiday, but it would really need to be worthwhile.
So my question is, in your experience, is a trip to Disney World better during Easter holidays than in July or August? I'm thinking in terms of weather and crowd levels.
