Anyone had a negative PCR for travel after covid positive within 3 months?

Going away at the end of May. I was covid positive in mid March (didn't record it at the time).
The country we are going to requires a negative PCR within 48 hours of travel.
I am very nervous that i might have buggered up our family holiday 🙁

Do they allow proof of recovery as an option as well? How about taking a test now, and if it does come back positive then logging it now so that you are "recovered" by then?
( I bet it will be negative though!)

Could I do 'proof of recovery' with a lateral flow test and record it?

My dc and their partner travelled in January 3 weeks after one of them tested positive- they had to have 3 pcr’s- one to travel and 2 on entry and all were negative.

Yes, I had covid at the end of February and then went on holiday at the start of April with a negative PCR. I think there were about 4 weeks between my first positive and the PCR so you should be fine.

Oh that's great to hear

Yes I had a negative PCR just over a month after having Covid. If you can afford it why not have a PCR now? If its positive you would the country you're travelling to consider it proof that you've recovered? Hope you can enjoy your hols OP.
