I am travelling to NYC in the middle of July and under 12s need to be fully vaccinated to go inside public buildings.
My U12 DD has had her first vaccination and will have had her second and the 14 days past before we fly (well, the 14th day is the day before we fly) but the farcical thing is you can only get proof of vaccination by LETTER. This can only be requested 14 days after the second jab. So I will have a fully vaccinated daughter but won’t be able to get proof of this before we go because they won’t issue one electronically.
Is this not just utter madness????? By the time the letter has been requested and turned up in the post it will probably be a month between vaccination and getting the proof!!!
Tried getting her second vaccination at 11 weeks, not 12 weeks. Computer says no.
What an absolute farce.
